YOU NEVER DREAMED YOU'D HAVE TO LIVE YOUR LIFE SO GUARDED LINKS

There is a light that I had found
Somewhere along the way
Where three had found their fate unbound
To live another day
Yet I walk this road alone
Try as I may to stay
Is this how I am to atone?
Is this my price to pay?

I can't help but recall old promises
As the days go by
Though so many things are still amiss
I can't help but wonder, "Why?"
"Why does one less bright star shine?"
As they all look to the sky
"Why is dark permitted it's time?
When light can't begin to cry?"

Yet I wish, though dark as this path may be
For a star to rise anew
Just for one more night to see
And not to bid, "Adeu"
When our journey not to long ago began
As the dawn brings its dew
It is now the time to arise again
To walk this road without you

As I walk in the brand-new light
Though the path is arduous and long
Just to do something right
When before I'd been so wrong
And while I fear needing to fall for my mistake
With our friends, I'll journey on
For all the promises we remake
No matter how time flows along
